Brooklin, Maine

Brooklin, Maine, has a long history of wooden boatbuilding, shaped by the surrounding bays and generations who made their living off shore. Near Stonington, Deer Isle and Acadia National Park, more than half of the town’s geography is water. This history and its size gives Brooklin a grounding, antiquated feeling. It resists the pace of modern living for the cool lapping of the tides. Most importantly, this way of life makes more room for what’s precious, like good company and love. We’re so excited to share this part of Maine with you.

Places to Explore

While our wedding will take place in Brooklin, we highly recommend taking time to explore the surrounding area while you’re here. There is so much to see nearby, from the quiet coastal towns to some of Maine’s most beautiful landscapes. We will be providing more recommendations prior to the event, but in the meantime, we highly suggest checking out the following guide from the Brooklin Inn, or exploring different recreational activities (hiking/biking/sightseeing) at Acadia.

P.S. - The Cadillac Mountain summit drive is worth it!
